Career Survival Guide is looking for a social media assistant! The role will not require more than 15 hours per month, and the schedule is flexible. We won't be asking you to manage all social accounts or to monitor them everyday; we just need content creation support here and there. The role is 100% remote.


This would be a good fit for a social media manager seeking a side hustle, a digital creator who loves to work on shareable content, or an aspiring media professional who wants to grow their portfolio.


Previous professional experience in social media (including internship experience) is preferred but not required. We are prioritizing applicants who are passionate about reaching an audience of early-career women and professionals of color.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with a supervisor to create and maintain a social media calendar

  • Working with a supervisor or intern to schedule and create posts for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook

  • Writing captions and creating social media graphics

  • Curating soundbites from interview transcripts

  • Working with a supervisor or intern to repurpose long-form video content for social media

  • Optional: Editing social videos and adding captions to social videos
